Today, I changed my official party registration from Libertarian to Republican. Why would I do such a thing? Why go back to the party that betrayed me so many years ago?

It’s simple - to reclaim libert and increase freedom, I need to be able to vote for Ron Paul in the New York Republican primary. It’s unfortunate that the election rules we have now prohibit non-Republicans from voting in the Republican primary, but those are the rules. As such, I will be a Republican temporarily so as to vote for Ron Paul.

I also sent in a donation to the Ron Paul campaign. You can do the same at http://www.ronpaul2008.org/donate/.

When I vote for Ron Paul for president, I will be a Libertarian again, but for now, we need to do what we can within the rules to work for the best course of action to reclaim liberty.
