It should be obvious to most people by now, but the “War On Drugs” is essentially un-winnable.  The “War On Terror” is essentially un-winnable as well, but it actually seems now, though, as though the Drug War is actually interfering with the Terror War.  The obvious example is in Afhganistan, where opium/heroin production continue to increase, thereby increasing the strength of the Taliban.  How is it that the government can’t see the forest for the trees?
