A Federal judge has issued a permanent injunction against a California law that labels violent video games and bars them from being sold to minors. While a win for free speech the judge cited a lack of studies showing the link between violent games and actual violence, instead of supporting the position that parents should be responsible for their children. Arnold Schwarzenneger, governor of California (and star of the violent “Terminator” movies, has vowed to appeal the ruling.
