New Hampshire Opts Out Of Real ID

The New Hampshire Senate has passed a bill opting out of the Real ID
program. (The Real ID program is a federally-sponsored program to get
all US citizens to carry a national ID card.) From the bill: “New
Hampshire shall not participate in any driver’s license program pursuant to
the Real ID Act of 2005 or in any national identification card system that
may follow therefrom.”
